Inner Beauty

Today Zach, Annie, and I helped out at our church with a bunch of our friends. We were doing work outside...and it was hot! lol

The reason I'm talking about this is because we were working in the heat, I wasn't exactly, looking my best. Hehe! ;) I was sweaty, my hair was pulled back into a very sloppy bun, no make up to count for...anyway, you get the picture. But, the neat thing is, I didn't worry about any of these things. I have some of the best friends in the world. Friends that don't care about your outward appearence; whether your hairs fixed or not; make up or no make up. It doesn't matter. We had a great time, being us, 'cause that was all that mattered.

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."
1 Peter 3:3-4, NIV
