My life...pinned.

This post idea has been going around blogger.  I first spotted it over at Kimberly's blog and then again at Jenn's and was inspired.

As stated on previous posts, I've become a pinterest addict.  It's my new found time waster.

I'll admit, when I first heard about it I thought, "What's the big deal?  It's just pictures."  But, man, was I wrong.  I've gotten so many ideas and tons of inspiration, just from a single photo.  Yep, I'm definitely hooked.

So, without further adieu, this my life in pins.

There you have it.  If I could be described in photos, that'd be it. ;)

What about you?  Do any of these photos describe you?  And are you a pinterest addict like me?

P.S. You know that last post of mine?  About the commercial?  Well it was my 200th blog post and I totally forgot to say something.  So, yay for 200 posts!

P.P.S. I guest posted over at my super duper good friend's blog.  Check it out, if you would, right over here.

Take a few seconds to watch this.  It'll make your day.  I promise.

God reads MY journal!

If you read yesterday's post, then you know that I started a prayer journal not to long ago.  It's become my place to write anything and everything, serious or random, in conversation to God.  Yesterday I was more on the random side.  Here's part of my entry:

Hello God,
I was thinking today...about a rather strange thing, I must admit.  I saw a photo of Jesus online today and He was in His usual attire...a long white dress thing.  And I was thinking...He'd probably be a lot more comfortable in jeans.  You know?  Just a thought...

Kinda strange.  Pretty random.  But you know what?  God read it.  He showed me that today and I just had to tell you all!

I was talking to my dad about a book he recently finished reading. "The Shack" by William P. Young.  We've become real book buddies, my dad and me.  He said that in the book the author portrayed God in a couple different forms.  And near the end God came as a man.  A man wearing blue jeans and hiking boots.  I sat there listening to this and my head kinda tilted and I was like, "Oh my gosh.  My journal entry."

Hello God,
  Happy Valentine's Day!
So, I have to tell you the coolest thing!  Daddy was telling me about the book he just finished, "The Shack."  He said that at one point the author had you appear to the main character as a man.  Guess what the man (You) was wearing?  Blue jeans and hiking boots.  The day after I talked to You about Jesus in jeans.  Thanks God!  You made my day.

Love you,
Katie

Monday Night Musings

I've started journaling again.  Inspired by this post, I went out and found a couple of notebooks on sale.  Who doesn't love shopping for notebooks right?

So far I've only started writing in one.  It's my new prayer journal.  I'll be honest with you...  Prayer has always been my weakest point in my relationship with God.  Which is kinda sad...communication is pretty important.  They say it's the key to good relationship.  I just seem to have this mind that likes to wander...a lot.  So I thought, why not write them down?  Plus I like to think that God is reading over my shoulder. ;)

That's just a little bit of Monday night randomness.  Or musings, rather.  What are you up to tonight?

...and her name is Minnie.

This is Minnie.

My brand new Mac.

Unfortunately, she came with the death of my laptop.  But, with that out of the way, I am quite in love with her.  She is a Mac Mini.  Hence her name.

I wanted to introduce her to you all.  She'll be my new blogging buddy.

So, everyone say hi Minnie!

Minnie says hi back. :)
