It feels like I haven't done this in forever.  But I had a lot of fun this week with these prompts!  So, without any further delay...

Can one be old and new at the same time?  That's kind of how I feel right now.  Like an old kid and a brand new (almost) young adult. :)

I was between two photos for this prompt.  This one and a self portrait (like the suggestion).  I finally decided this one was my favorite.  It's my CD collection.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

This is actually my porch...not a street.  Haha!  But I liked how the picture turned out, none the less.

I thought this turned out pretty cool!  It's part of our fence in the backyard.

I'm sitting on the floor. ;)
Ok, so I realize my mirror is super dirty.  Haha!  But...other than that, I thought it was a neat shot.

{then and now}

I got my hair cut last week.  I had 2 or 3 inches taken off so it's up above my shoulders now.  I really like it, even it is pretty short.  I was going to put two photos together...like a before and after.  But I didn't have a good one showing the length that I had taken for the before shot.  So I just have the after (or the now).  But you can see a before picture that my sister took on my sidebar if you like. :)

This is an archive...but I couldn't help it.  I really love this picture!  These are my brothers' hands.

This is actually my sister's iPod because I couldn't find mine when I took this picture. Hehe ;)  Thanks Annie for letting me use yours!

This is one of my favorite hats...and it also belongs to my sister.  Haha!  I love it though, and really like how the photo turned out.

We don't make many things with sprinkles but I started digging around in our kitchen cabinets and actually found some!  I was so happy!  Haha!  And don't worry...I cleaned up the counter when I finished taking pictures. ;)

I adore black and white photos.  They're some of my absolute favorites.  And I really like how this one turned  out.  It's probably my favorite for the week. :)

I was stuck between two photos with this prompt...but finally decided on this one.  It's taken in one of the side view mirrors of our truck.

{headlights}

I spent a little bit of time taking pictures with our truck this week.  Haha!  This is one of the headlights. ;)

{seeing double}

This was probably the hardest for me this week...so I ended up using an archive.  Ha!  My sister and I are very often mistaken for each other...even though we're three years apart in age.  Nowadays, I answer to not only, Katie, but Annie too.  Haha! ;)

I know that this picture doesn't actually show the veins of the leaves...but I really like it so I thought I'd go ahead and use it. :)

My daddy gave me this ring.  I wear it around my neck for two reasons...  1. It's too small for my finger. ;)  2. It's closer to my heart.  It says "He Loves Me" on it and it's very special! <3

Hello everybody!


My apologies for skipping a couple weeks of Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  I have been crazy busy and, unfortunately, did very little picture taking. :-P


But!  I'm back, and this week was a lot of fun! :)








1.

{long exposure}

This one was probably the hardest for me this week...  I wasn't quite sure how to do it.  And I'm not even sure if this picture counts.  Haha!  I took the photo outside on a very sunny day and at first was disappointed with the overpowering light.  But then I remembered this week's challenges and was like, "Hm.  Why not?"  I even like how the photo ended up turning out. :)

These days you can get your make-up in any shape or size you like.  Just take your pick. ;)

I thought this turned out kinda cute. ;)

{fruit}

Ok, I must admit, this is an archive...because I forgot about #4.  *gasp*  I know, right.
I wouldn't say bananas are my favorite fruit.  (That would have to be blueberries or watermelon...but we were fresh out of both. :P)  I do love to eat them with peanut butter, though.  Yummy!

5.

{childhood memory}

As soon as I read this one I knew that I had to take a picture of "The Lion King".  When I was little it was my all time favorite movie.  My dad and I would watch it over and over again together. <3

Before I head out, I wanted to let you know that for the next week I'll be away at church camp.  I'll miss you all dearly!  But, have no fear, I'll be back in a week with a post filled with pictures and camp news. :)

One of my biggest passions in the world is singing.  I love it!  Praising the Lord like that with my brothers and sister is one of my absolute favorite things to do.

I also want to enter this photo^ in Allie's Happy Monday photo challenge.

Guess what!  This is my suggestion!  Eep!  I was so excited. ;)

This was actually harder than I originally thought it would be...we have a bunch of instruments around the house so I took a bunch of pictures.  I finally picked out my favorite, though.  This is of my brother's guitar. :)

{inner beauty}

I love this photo!  This is my beautiful on the inside and out BFFE, Kaela Jo, at our Friday night girl's Bible study.  We always start out with a worship song. <3

To tell you the truth, I had to google this because I did not know what this word meant when I first read it.

Oook, I'm focusing on delicate. ;)

This is my 11 year old brother, Logan.  He's 6 years younger than me and I've pretty much watched him grow up.  Sometimes I still like to think of him like the little baby he was years ago.  But... *sigh* he's growing up.

5.

My brother, Logan, is a smart kiddo.  He got 100% on his math lesson the other day.  *grins*
