Looking Back at 2010 (in photos)

These are some of the highlights my 2010:

{Warning: Another very long post with lots of pictures. ;)}

In March:
I turned 16 years old!  And had my very first store bought cake. ;)

I also got my lap top! <3

In April:
I was finally able to tell my good twin friends apart. ;)  Kricia is to the left on the bunk bed and KayCee is standing on the right.

Also in April, Mom, me, and Annie went to Women of Joy for the first time.

And got to see Sarah Palin speak!  Which was really neat!

In May:
I helped lead my first girl's Bible study.  And the girl's that were in it (which also happened to be my best friends) came over for a Bible study/ sleepover.  Which was so much fun!  And we now have sleepovers as a regular thing. :)

My doggie, Nickel, turned five years old.
{Sorry about the blurry picture... :P}

With the help of some awesome helpers (Mom, my grandma, and Annie) I painted my whole room along with a few pieces of my furniture.  It took an entire week and by the end I was so tired of painting!  But I love the way it turned out! :)

Also in May, I went to my home school group's senior banquet for the first time.

One of my good friend's graduated this year. :)

In June:
I was a VolunTeen!  I volunteered at the hospital this summer and it was so much fun!

I got to sit in this awesome chair!

In July:
I went to Crossings summer camp with my church youth group.

And I got blobbed for the first time! :)

I got this sweet hat from the chef at the hospital.  It sits on my bookshelf in my room. ;)

In August:
I did a lot of stuff.  Haha!

I went tubing for the fist time.  And loved it!

I became a Junior in high school. :)

I started nursing classes at the college.

My dad, brother, and I went to a Rebelution conference...it was awesome!

We had a swim party with my friends at my grandparent's house.  So fun!

And I did this.  Haha!

My BFFE, Kaela, got baptised!  I was so proud, I cried. :)  Love you, Kaela Jo!

In September:
I took my permit test...and passed!  Whoot!  Two days later I started to learn to drive. :)

In October:
My grandparents hosted a big cook out at their house and my grandaddy took us all out on a hay ride.  This is me and some of my friends that came. :)

We also went on a big family vacation.

To the Corvette Museum.

The Creation Museum.

The Zoo.

And to a Matthew West/ Josh Wilson concert. :)

In November:
I got 6 inches of my hair cut off.

We had a big Thanksgiving dinner at our house. :)

And we got another real tree. <3

In December:
We went to an awesome Chris Tomlin and Louie Giglio concert.

Then a week later we went to the Unified Music Fest and got to see...

Rush Of Fools

 Sanctus Real

...and The Afters!

I helped plan a surprise birthday party for the twins (KayCee and Kricia) who turned 20 years old! And boy, were they surprised. ;)

This was the 16th year of my life...and one of the best.  If not the best.  Sure, there were some hard days.  Some days where I was sad or angry or hurt.  But there were so many good days.  So many days filled with laughter and amazing friends.  I made some of the best friends I've ever had this year.  That includes you, too, wonderful followers. :)

All in all, I had a wonderful 2010.  And I hope you did too.  Happy New Year!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

"We wish you a merry Christmas.  We wish you a merry Christmas.  We wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year."

I hope everybody had a fabulous Christmas!  I know I did...and I wanted to share it with you all. :)

Before I get started, I must warn you, this has the makings of a very long post with a lot of pictures. ;)  There, you are officially warned.

On Christmas Eve we went to our church's Christmas Eve service and then headed to our grandparent's house.  We do this every year. ;)  At my grandparent's we eat yummy food and then open presents.  We start out opening our gifts one at a time so we can all see what everybody else gets.  But, usually, our excited-ness kinda grows because of the mound of wrapped presents sitting in front of us and the organization disappears.  Haha!  It's so much fun! ;)

Here's some pictures from Christmas Eve:

All six of us grandkids.

Goofy picture! ;)

I just had to post this.  Hahaha!  My brother is seriously a goof-ball.  100% ;)

My family <3

So, that was Christmas Eve. :)  It was awesome!

Now, onto Christmas Day.  Guess what!  You'll never believe it!  My dreams came true!  We had a white Christmas for the first time in six years!  Here's some pictures:

Isn't it so pretty?!

On Christmas Day, we woke up at 8 o'clock on the dot, because Mom said we couldn't get up any earlier. ;) Haha!  Which was fine with me...my little brother ended up getting me up.

First, we sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus.

And then we opened our stockings. :)  We have 10 stockings.  Six, for all of us (Dad, Mom, me, Zach, Annie, and Logan) and then three for the dogs (Nickel, Nellie Mae, and Nyle) and, last but not least, one for our fishies. ;)  If you look in the picture, mine is the really long one.  Haha!  I hadn't emptied it yet.

After we went through our stockings we went on in to the living room and opened our presents!

As you can see, we're all like half asleep. ;)

Nyle is in the middle of it all.  Hehe :)

Then we called up my family and they came over and we had a big Christmas feast!

A big 'ol stack of yummy waffles!  Mmm!

Hehe ;)  Can't forget the chocolate!

I also thought I'd share some of the things I got for Christmas. :)  What did you get?

iPod dock!

Some really cute boots!

I love these movies!

My favorite perfume :)

This amazing hat that I received from my BFFE (best friend for eternity), Kaela. <3

Some clothes!

So, that's what I received. :)  Among other things like:
  • Point of Grace Christmas CD
  • Hobo gloves
  • Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion and body wash
  • A head band
  • jewelry
  • Lots of money ;)
I wore this bow on my shirt all day. lol

All six of us on Christmas day. :)

I hope you had a great Christmas!!  Feel free to comment and tell me about it.

P.S. Oh!  One last thing!  Happy Anniversary to my amazing parents!  They've been married 19 years today. :)
