Merry CHRISTmas!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I did! :) I got about 5 CDs, a bunch of movies, some nice clothes, 2 books by my favorite author, and some money. Also, we do some special traditions every Christmas I'd like to tell ya'll about.

We always do something we call 'Pepperoni Blessings'. We usually order pizza and have it delivered to the house. Then we'll give the pizza man a gift and a tip. This year we did it a little different and went to Wendy's. There's this reallly nice hostess there that's super nice! So we gave her a gift and a gift card. Her co-workers were all crowded around her and her boss praised her like big time! It was a very neat experience!

On Christmas Eve we'll always go to my Grandparent's house and have our Christmas with them. We have snacks and open presents and play games! Very fun!

Then Christmas morning, the BIG day ;), we'll get up and see if Santa came! Of course, he always has! ;) lol We'll look in our stockings first, then we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus, and then open our gifts. After all the presents are opened and wrapping paper has littered the living room floor, Mom will put her apron on and cook a huge delicious brunch! My grandparent's, uncle, aunt, and 2 baby cousins will come to our house and eat.

Christmas night is special. We have a birthday party for Jesus. Each one of us have a special gift for Jesus. It's something that we either promise to start doing or promise to give up. And we have to stick with it. This year Momma had us all pick out what we thought was our spiritual gift and find out a way to give it back to Jesus. And that's how we end Christmas Day.

The next morning though we go on a big shopping spree! A chance for us to spend our Christmas money and gift cards. We usually, every year, "shop 'til we drop"! lol

Happy Late Thanksgiving & Black Friday

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was awesome! Mine was! :) We had ours at my aunt and uncle's house this year. Oh my word, there was so much food! I ate so much that if I even thought about food afterwards, I felt sick to my stomach. lol It was all delicious though!

After we went home we put up our Christmas tree. It's something we do every Thanksgiving. This year we actually had a real live tree! We haven't had one since I was a baby and I don't remember it so it was quite exciting going to pick it out and then putting it up. It was also my turn to put the star on top (we take turns every year). It was my last time doing it as a kid...in 4 years I'll be 19 years old. Hard to imagine!

The day after Thanksgiving was Black Friday. It was my first time ever going shopping on the busiest shopping day of the year! I woke up at 4 AM and we hurried out of the house to the superly packed Walmart! lol It was so much fun! We got a lot of good deals and there's just something about shopping so early in the morning in the freezing cold that's exciting and thrilling...I don't know. ;)

Update

I haven't written on here in a long time! :/ Everything's been pretty good. I'm actually enjoying school. I have a new program called Switched On Schoolhouse (SOS) that's all on the computer! So now the only thing I have in a textbook is Algebra 2 and still do some of that on the computer. Also SOS does all the grading for you! It's neat! :-)

Very First Perm!!

A couple days ago I had my very first perm!! It was so exciting!! My hair's not super curly...it's more crinckly. Which is fine with me! LOL! My hair has always been naturally super straight. & I've almost always curled it with either foam rollers, hot rollers, or a curling iron. So I descided to just go for it and get it some perminate curl! HeeHee! So...I love my new look!! YAY!! HaHa! :)

Baby-Sitting

I baby-sat my two baby cousins today. I do every Thursday actually. =) Jace (almost 2) and Josie (3 years) are just sweethearts!

Today we were doing those little stick-on tattoos. Josie insisted that I put one on my arm too! And she also insisted that I put one of the bigest ones on my arm! HaHa!! So I have a big pink super woman tattoo on my arm! It's awesome! HaHa!

We also played outside today (just me and Jace because Josie had to go to dance camp) on their fort/ swing set. Jace climbed up on the fort and I took a picture with my phone of him and me. He said "I see!" And he points at me and says "K-K!" in his sweet little boy voice! It was so cute! =)

Paper Route

Just got home from the paper route. This morning was quite eventful!

First, we are driving down one of our streets; Annie's out running and tossing papers. All of a sudden she stops though and we all look at her wondering what in the world she's doing. Then we see where she's looking...she had thrown a paper and it landed on the roof of the house!! I still have no idea how she got it up there, seriously! I laughed so hard!

Second, we drop off Zach and Annie at the begining of one of the small streets and Mom and I drive down to the end of it. We came up with an efficent time saver where we ride on the outside of the van instead of having to open and close the door all the time. So that's what I'm doing. And we go down to the end and I go to get off, a little too soon...my foot didn't exactly catch me like I though it was going to and my back side meets the pavement! So...I'll most likely have a bruise there now. HaHa!

Oh and Zachary has officially nicknamed himself 'The Heart of a Warrior'. He claims that we would never be able to get through the paper route if it wasn't for his awesome skill! Ha!

Summer Break

We are now on summer break!! Since I am home schooled we usually school through the summer and just take breaks when we need to. This is our break time...we are off for about 2 and a half weeks. We are going camping on Thursady and I am really hoping that it doesn't rain! HaHa!

My best friend Kaela is in Florida on vacation right now. She is going to be gone for another week and a half and I miss her! But texting is saving us from missing each other too much. =)

I have a doggy named Nickel! And he is a yorkie. He is just like a little baby to me and I spoil him a lot! HeeHee! =)
