Today I turned 17 years old.

Ok, so I don't officially turn 17 until 6:08 tonight, but still! ;)

Wow...it's pretty crazy to me.  I can't believe another year has gone.

I was talking to my 3 year old cousin, Jace, a few days ago.

Me- "Guess what, Jace!  I'm going to be 17 in two days!  Do you think that's old?"

Jace- "Yeah."

Me- "Yeah, me too."

Jace- "How much is that?"

*holds up fingers*

Me- "It's all of your fingers plus 7 of mine.  See, one-two-three-four-five-six-seven-eight-nine-ten-eleven-twelve-thirteen-fourteen-fifteen-sixteen-seventeen."

Jace- "That's a long number."

Tehe ;-)  Love you, Jace Man! 

I said above I couldn't believe another year had gone.  But, you know what, a new year is here now.  16 was quite fabulous, if I do say so myself, and I hope and pray that 17 is just as great!

Now, I wanted share with you what I'm doing on my 17th day of birth (Ha!).  I woke up around 7:00 and went down stairs to a yummy birthday breakfast of fried eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits, and bacon that my mommy made for me.  We even had chocolate milk!  Yum!

I also received a few more pretty amazin' gifts:

• New photo frames for my bed room.  Yay!
• "Ramona & Beezus" movie.  I've already watched it this morning.  Hehe ;)
• A new very pretty laundry hamper for my room.
• Stationary for writing my pen pal with.
• Some sweet scrapbooking paper.

Then, tonight I have Bible study with some of my totally wonderful girl friends.  I'm gonna bring some yummy cupcakes. ;)

After that, Kaela Jo, my BFFE is spending the night.  We have plans...we're gonna play apples-to-apples and kimps with my family.  Then stay up late(ish) watching "MegaMind" and "Ramona & Beezus" and making Polyvore sets.  Hehe!
