Ever ask yourself why?

Ever ask yourself why? Why did you say this, Katie? Why did you react this way, Katie? I know what the Bible says, what it teaches is wrong and right. I want to live by it. Yet, I end up doing the thing I try not to do. Why is that?

I definitely don't have all the answers. I don't even have most of the answers. I know there's a verse in the Bible that talks about this...doing something sinful even though you know it's wrong and deep down inside you're telling yourself not to do it, but you do it anyway. Did Paul say that? If so, I feel like Paul a lot. I can only ask God to guide me. Guide my words, my thoughts, my actions, my reactions. I just feel like I'm fighting the battle of sin everyday...I guess I am, actually. I've got a lot to work on. But, it's so comforting to know that God's there. He's guiding me. Helping me through life. Wow. Do you ever just sit back and think about that? The One who placed each star in it's place, who hung the moon, who put every petal on every daisy, is right beside you, always will be, helping you and guiding you.

  2. So true! The Bible says once we become a Christian the Holy Spirit lives in us and gives us discernment over our actions. If only I obeyed that feeling of "what's right and what's wrong" a little more, I'd make better choices.
