Ok, so I realize my mirror is super dirty.  Haha!  But...other than that, I thought it was a neat shot.

I got my hair cut last week.  I had 2 or 3 inches taken off so it's up above my shoulders now.  I really like it, even it is pretty short.  I was going to put two photos together...like a before and after.  But I didn't have a good one showing the length that I had taken for the before shot.  So I just have the after (or the now).  But you can see a before picture that my sister took on my sidebar if you like. :)

Lately

Lately, I've been...
reading... "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper.  I'm not very far in it yet, but it's already pretty good and interesting. :)
listening... to Bleah Briann's blogger soundtrack.  Hehe ;)  Thanks Bleah!
drinking... water and sweet tea mostly.
eating... a yeast roll.  I finished it a few minutes ago, actually.
anticipating... tonight.  It's the last night VBS and I've had a blast all week!
loving... my sister. <3
looking... at the fast approaching new school year.  Boy this summer has gone fast!

We don't make many things with sprinkles but I started digging around in our kitchen cabinets and actually found some!  I was so happy!  Haha!  And don't worry...I cleaned up the counter when I finished taking pictures. ;)

We're baby-sitting my baby cousin this weekend.  He is just about the sweetest little 3 year old I know!  He's energetic, has the cutest laugh, thinks he's Thor, wants to be a cowboy when he grows up, and is nearly always jabbering about something.  Yep, he's a certified sweetheart. ;)

I adore black and white photos.  They're some of my absolute favorites.  And I really like how this one turned  out.  It's probably my favorite for the week. :)

I was stuck between two photos with this prompt...but finally decided on this one.  It's taken in one of the side view mirrors of our truck.

I spent a little bit of time taking pictures with our truck this week.  Haha!  This is one of the headlights. ;)

This was probably the hardest for me this week...so I ended up using an archive.  Ha!  My sister and I are very often mistaken for each other...even though we're three years apart in age.  Nowadays, I answer to not only, Katie, but Annie too.  Haha! ;)

Yep, it's that time once again.  I love volunteering at the hospital in my city and this year my brother, Zach, decided to do it with me.  We work in the kitchen together and it's so much fun!

I've been doing my hair kinda different every once and a while.  I'll put it in piggy-tails but instead of having them hang down I put them in buns.  So...piggy-buns, I guess?  Haha!

This is me lately...

reading... "Her Mother's Hope" by Francine Rivers and "Pride & Prejudice" by Jane Austen.  Both are good books so far!
listening... to mostly Owl City these days.
drinking... sweet tea.  Yum!  There's something about tea that just...tastes like summer.  (If summer had a taste...)
eating... today?  Well today I had pizza and potato soup.  In different meals, might I add. ;)
anticipating... the youth retreat I'm going on this weekend with my mom.  Can't wait!
loving... my volunteer work at the hospital this summer.  New friends + working with my brother + fun work with fun people = well...a lot of fun! ;)
looking... at my near future.  And changes that are going to be taking place.
inspired by... some great Christian people that I know and am blessed to call friends.

Psalm 91
