My daddy gave me this ring.  I wear it around my neck for two reasons...  1. It's too small for my finger. ;)  2. It's closer to my heart.  It says "He Loves Me" on it and it's very special! <3

I'm back from camp!  Whoopy!  I had a fabulous time!  But there's no place like home, right?  It's good to be back. :)

This week I learned about what it means to be washed.  I know I'm stained by sin and that my stain deserves death.  But through Jesus, I can shine.  And that's amazing!


1 Corinthians 6:11,

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Hello everybody!


My apologies for skipping a couple weeks of Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  I have been crazy busy and, unfortunately, did very little picture taking. :-P


But!  I'm back, and this week was a lot of fun! :)

This one was probably the hardest for me this week...  I wasn't quite sure how to do it.  And I'm not even sure if this picture counts.  Haha!  I took the photo outside on a very sunny day and at first was disappointed with the overpowering light.  But then I remembered this week's challenges and was like, "Hm.  Why not?"  I even like how the photo ended up turning out. :)

Ok, I must admit, this is an archive...because I forgot about #4.  *gasp*  I know, right.
I wouldn't say bananas are my favorite fruit.  (That would have to be blueberries or watermelon...but we were fresh out of both. :P)  I do love to eat them with peanut butter, though.  Yummy!

As soon as I read this one I knew that I had to take a picture of "The Lion King".  When I was little it was my all time favorite movie.  My dad and I would watch it over and over again together. <3

Before I head out, I wanted to let you know that for the next week I'll be away at church camp.  I'll miss you all dearly!  But, have no fear, I'll be back in a week with a post filled with pictures and camp news. :)

I'm entering Allie and Mikayla's {A Photo} Challenge.  The theme is a photo of yourself so today I took my camera outside and did a little photo shoot with myself. ;)  I love how this one turned out!

Summer Splash {Blog Party}

I'm linking up with Lucia and Robyn's blog party.  This is my very first time participating in a blog party and I'm quite excited! :)





What are two songs that describe you?  I've been told that the song "Blessed Be the Name" reminds people of me...  I think it's because I did sign language to it at an event one time. :)  Also, the Brandon Heath song "I'm Not Who I Was."


What do you most fear?  Sharp things....  More specifically, knives...and things. :-P


What color(s) dominate(s) your wardrobe?  Pink.  I figured this out a few weeks ago when my daddy bought me a pink bracelet.  I was able to wear it like all the time.  Apparently because I wear a lot of pink.  Ha!


How do you normally do you hair?  90% of the time it's down.  The other 10% it's in a ponytail because I haven't had the time to fix it.  Also, sometimes I'll pull my bangs back and do a poof thing with them. ;)


Do you prefer milkshakes or smoothies?  Milkshakes.  I'm a sucker for ice cream and chocolate-y things.


Do you like the color pink?  It's ok.  Mostly depends on the shade, I guess.  I wear it a lot (see question above^ about wardrobe) but it's not one of my favorite colors.


What is your favorite flower?  Daisies.  Definitely daisies. <3  "They're so friendly.  Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?"  (<--- Movie quote, anyone?)


How many states have you been to?  Hmm... *counting on fingers*  Six I believe. 

What is your favorite thing about June?  Not as much school, volunteering at the hospital, warm sunny weather, shorts, swimming, church camp, boating...  Yep, summer is saaweeet!


Describe your "dream wedding location."  Walking down the aisle at the church I've grown up in on a sunny May day with lots of flowers (lots of daisies).  And then going to my house for an outdoor reception under white tents.  Cue dreamy smile and "aw"... ;)
