Sun Chip Crumbs

I'm sitting here in my room on my computer. Facebook, Yahoo, checking the blogs I follow...ya know, the norm. But! I have a new bag of Sun Chips here with me! ;) Sun Chips are not a chip that I normally eat...I'm not a big chip person. But when I do eat them, I like Wavy Lay's. Anyway, I was eating my Sun Chips and I realized after a few chips that it was impossible to fit a whole chip in my mouth. That I'd have to bite it in half. And when I did that guess what happened? Crumbs! Guess who loves crumbs? My dogs! Haha! So, Nickel and Nellie Mae both were standing at the foot of my chair eating up all the crumbs I dropped.

As you can see, I delite in the little pleasures in life. Or....I just need more interesting things to blog about. Sun Chip crumbs could be stretching it a bit. LOL ;)

Over the past few months Logan has really taken a likeing to cooking. He really likes to fix breakfast and sometimes lunch. And he likes to help Mom in the kitchen a lot. So, a few days ago, he was fixing breakfast and I came down to eat and found this:
It made me smile so I had to take a picture. And then decided to share it with you. I hope it brought a smile to your face. :)

Bible Study/ Sumber Party

Back from our technology break! Yay! lol ;)

So, Friday night was our last Friday night girl's Bible study and we decided it would be lots of fun if all of us girls got together and had a slumber party! Thought it'd be a fun way to end the study. We decided to do it at my house since it was the biggest. So, it was Annie and me plus four other girls. My brothers just about had a fit! Haha!

I bet you 10 bucks that nobody has ever had a slumber party like the one we had! lol After Bible study and dinner we just sat in my room singing. And not only singing but really worshipping. We could each worship in our own way, too, and none of us had a reason to be ashamed. It was so amazing! After worship we all prayed together. Just us teenagers. God has really blessed me with an awesome group of girl friends who love Him! I am so thankful!

Here's a pic of all of us together. :)

My weekend...plus a little break

Just got home from a weekend with my Gigi and Grandaddy (my grandparents). I spent the night with them last night. It was a lot of fun! My Gigi always told me when I was little, like 7 or 8, that when I got 15 and 16 to still come up and see her and Grandaddy. And now I actually am 16 and I still love going up to their farm! It's funny.. :)

So, Mom has decided we need a little technology break. Starting tomorrow, for one whole week, no texting, facebook, chatting, wii, etc. Wanted to let you know 'cause I won't be on here for a bit. Will miss you all!

Signing out now...see you in a week or so. :)

Women of Joy

Just got home from Women of Joy in Louisville a couple hours ago. Mom, Annie, and I went with a bunch of women from church. I had an amazing time!!

I'll tell ya what all I learned and stuff below, but first wanted to let you know who all was there. :) First of all, Sarah Palin was there!! It was awesome to hear her speak! Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith were there and each did a concert which was really neat! Some of the speakers (other than Sarah Palin) were Liz Curtis Higgs, Anita Renfroe, and Becky Tirabassi. They were awesome! The worship leader for the whole weekend was Charles Billingsley. I actually had never heard of him before. But he was awesome!! He was one of, if not my favorite of the whole weekend. So, I'm now a fan of him on facebook. lol

This was the second weekend in a row (first was the youth trip) I've heard to step out of my comfort zone, my box, and to use the gifts God has given me for His glory, #1. #2, I heard, for the second time also, to surrender my plans. Ya know the saying, "We plan down here and God's laughing up there" kinda thing? Well, right now I'm making some large decisions about my future. Decisions that will affect the rest of my life pretty much. (College...eek!) And I was thinking, ya know, what does God want me to do?? What if I become a nurse and then He calls me to something totally different, like to go to Africa, or be a writer, or go full time with my band?? And over the course of these trips I'm learning to live for today. Live for today and let God deal with whatever is coming tomorrow, next week, next year, etc. So, my plan is to go to college, and get involved in the medical field. Maybe become a nurse...or something else. And if something different happens down the road, so be it. God's in control!

24/7 Christians

Last night's revival was awesome! I had such a great time worshiping! Standing up there with my band, my siblings, I could see God working in an incredible way. It's amazing what the Lord could have instore for us in the future!

The schedule last night was changed around a little bit, so I didn't do my testimony. Which was just fine. The way it worked out was perfect. The speaker last night talked on practically the same stuff that I had! Also, Sacramento Baptist's youth group put on an amazing skit! Very powerful! Zach said that it gave him goosebumps. It did me too.

God is working in a mighty way in our family, and in our band. What 24/7 is all about is being a Godly example. Being "24/7 Christians." I pray that we are able to be used for God's glory. Send us, Lord!
