Footsteps in Florida: Beach Days

We're here in Florida 'til Friday and I plan on making the beach my second home.  I'm absolutely loving it!

Haha!  Buried in the sand. ;)

Footsteps in Florida: Road Trip & First Times

Road trip equals...

ten hours in the car.

napping on the way.

squished in the backseat with my sister.

music.

laughter.

bumpy roads.

books.

PB&J.

Yep that's a road trip. ;)  But we're here!  We arrived at our resort house yesterday afternoon and got settled in.  Then...we took a trip to the beach.  It was the very first time to see the ocean for my siblings and me.

I have fallen in love.  It's absolutely beautiful!

Growth

Emily Grace is having a photo challenge over at her photography blog called Growth.  What you do is find a photo you took last year and re-take it to see how you've improved with your photography.  I thought it sounded fun, so here we go! :)

Here's a photo I took, gosh, not last year but several years ago.  No laughing, ok?

Yes...I did take this.  *blush*  This is me when I was probably 13 or 14.

Definitely a bit of growth there I think. ;)

Chocolate Chips for Breakfast

Hello folks whom I haven't talked to in a while.  I thought since it's been nearly a week, I'd do a little update.  Here's what's been going on with me lately.

reading... "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen and I just started " Her Daughter's Dream" by Francine Rivers.
listening... to the soundtrack of "The Lion King". <3
drinking... sweet tea.  Lots of sweet tea. ;)
eating... pizza here recently.  This morning I had muffins for breakfast.  Chocolate chip...yum!
anticipating... Florida!  11 days!  Whoot whoot!
loving... the laughs I shared with my family over last night's "Castle" episode.
looking... forward to the See You At The Pole rally tonight with my youth group.
inspired by... my sister's intuitive mind.  She amazes me sometimes.  Love ya, Annie Beth!
