Love is in the Air

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  I hope each and every one of you had a great day!  I know I sure did. :)

Yesterday my little brother, Logan, started making his valentine's for his friends so he could pass them out at church.  Well, needless to say, he decided to 'share the love' and decorate our house with the little heart stickers you use to seal valentines.  I couldn't help but make a photo shoot out of it. ;)

My doggy, Nickel, got 'decorated' as well.  This picture is probably the fifteenth one I took of him, too.  He just wouldn't stand still for me.  Ha!

I woke up early this morning for our annual Valentine's Day breakfast.  My mom decorated the kitchen and made heart shaped pancakes.  Yum!

Then we each got a little present.  This year I got a sweater from the Family Christian Store that I love!  Plus chocolate.  Valentine's Day just isn't right without chocolate.  In my opinion. ;)

Well, I am off to bed.  But I'll leave you with a scripture verse.  One of my favorites.

Remember when you were 11?

I remember when I was 11.  I felt like I was practically a grown up.  I was nearly a pre-teen for goodness' sake!  But...I'm not 11 any more.  That was a while ago.  Almost 6 years ago in fact. 

Guess who's 11 now?  My baby brother.  I know.  It's totally crazy!  He's growing up too fast.  I'm considering putting a brick on his head.

You know, when you watch somebody younger than you grow up you totally know what all the adults mean when they say they feel old because you're so big.  Or when they say time flies.

Ok, here's my happy birthday letter to my bubby. :)

Dear Logan Joe,
Today's your birthday.  Congratulations!  I hope you have an amazing day!  I can't believe you're eleven years old already!  How crazy is that?!

Did you know you're the only one I remember being born?  I remember when you were a baby.  I remember wondering what you'd look like, or how you'd act, or what your hobbies would be when you grew up.

I think it's cool how I'm the only one (other than Grandaddy sometimes) who calls you Logan Joe. ;)

Did you know that you're a lot like me?  I think it's very neat that I can understand you because I'm the same way.

I want you to know that I love you so much!  No matter how many birthdays you have you'll always be my baby brother.  Don't grow up too fast, ok?

Photo Challenge (ROFL)

This week's photo is ROFL (roll on floor laughing).  Now...I thought this photo was pretty appropriate. ;)  My 14 year old brother, Zachary, who is 6 feet tall squished his entire body (on purpose!) into one of our kitchen cabinets!  Hahaha!  Goofy goofy! ;)

This week's subject is food.  Yum!  This is a picture of my mom's peanut butter pie.  Oh my goodness...delicious!  This was the last piece...and I had the good fortune of being able to eat it. ;)
